Chocolate Mint Icing...mmmMMMmmm....

Can you tell that we here at What is Baking believe that mint and chocolate are the perfect combination?  What we like about these cookies is that they are rich and chewy without being too dense.

The icing on top of these babies is dark chocolate with cool mint…and to. die. for.  They’d be fantastic crumbled on top of vanilla ice cream or used to make an ice cream sandwich.

Want to make them a gift?  Put a few of these in a basket with a cute bowl, an ice cream scoop, and a few other toppings (we’d go with a cute little glass jar full of mini chocolate chips, or m&ms).

As our online shop is brand new we are adding multiple products everyday.  We hope to feature each product here on the blog, but it may take a while to catch up to our current pace.  Once we have the shop fully stocked we’ll start featuring products as we create them.

Today’s featured product is Milk Chocolate Covered Mint Double Stuffed Oreo Pops.

Mint and chocolate are a match made in heaven!  When we saw these new cookies we couldn’t wait to try them in chocolate, and with good reason.  They are FANTASTIC!  And what isn’t cuter when it’s on a stick?

How would we gift these little treats?  Add two to a coffee cup with a chocolate covered spoon (coming soon!) and the recipients favorite warm drink (single serve coffee, tea, or hot chocolate).  These would be terrific Christmas gifts for teachers or office personnel.
